Ivor is 12 when the Nazis march into his village in Hungary. His father and eldest brother are immediately sent to a labour battalion and the remaining family, to the ghetto, where they are eventually rounded up, herded to the station and pushed onto cattle trucks. On arrival at Auschwitz, his mother insists he leaves his sisters and younger siblings and stands with his two older brothers. Told to say he is sixteen, he makes the selection alongside them. In the shower blocks, he is disinfected, shaved, uniformed, given a number and marched to a barracks where his eldest brother is taken to work in the crematorium. This is Ivor's story retold in an animated film by Zoom Rockman.

Vimeo Licence for screenings of Survivor

1. This licence (“Licence”) sets out the terms upon which Lemon Soul Limited (“Lemon Soul”), a company registered in the United Kingdom with registration number 09694095 and with its registered offices at 188 Brent Street, London, England, NW4 1BE grants a limited, non-exclusive licence for the Educational Use of the Film title “Survivor” by a customer (“you”, “your”) for a single screening of the Film using the platform at vimeo.com (“Vimeo”).

2. By accessing the Film through Vimeo you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Licence for screenings of the Film.

3. In the event of any conflict of terms between this Licence and the terms of Vimeo, the terms of this Licence shall prevail.

4. All screening use shall include all credits and notices at the beginning and end of the Film.

5. The Film may only be accessed and screened through Vimeo by you for educational and non-commercial purposes only.

6. You have limited rights to use excerpts or extracts from the Film not exceeding a total duration of 2 (two) minutes in educational presentations and student projects.

7. You must not edit, alter, or adapt the Film at all in any way except where required to enable the screening of the Film.

8. You must not share the Film online via any video-sharing platform or by any other means, whether currently existing or developed in the future.

9. You must not, and must not permit, any broadcast, copying, renting, lending of the Film or otherwise communicate it in any form, except as permitted under the education and non-commercial use described above.

10. You shall use all reasonable measures to keep any screenings and downloads of the Film secure and under your control.

11. You indemnify Lemon Soul in full against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of the terms of this Licence and against all costs incurred by Lemon Soul in enforcing the terms of this Licence.

12. This Licence shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
